Stout Textiles, founded in 1927 by brothers Charles and Harry Stout in Philadelphia, is a fourth-generation, family-owned company specializing in decorative fabrics, trimmings, and wallcoverings.
Initially focused on upholstery supplies, the company expanded in the 1950s to include decorative fabrics, particularly draperies.
In 2013, Stout introduced Marcus William, a high-end fabric division, and in 2019, it acquired Bassett McNab, a brand known for traditional florals, chinoiserie, and classic toiles, thereby combining two Philadelphia family legacies rich in textile history.
Today, under the leadership of fourth-generation family members, Stout continues to offer a diverse range of products that blend timeless elegance with contemporary design, catering to both residential and commercial interiors.
