Receiving Warehouses
Receiving warehouses are an important resource and an extension of our teams from both the perspective of the furniture dealer & the designer.
Why should I use a receiver?
The receiver will not only receive your items from the freight carrier, they will also carefully unbox, inspect, and document any potential issues with both notes & detailed photographs & will report them to us here at Francis King.
It is essential that items are inspected swiftly upon arrival in order to file a claim with the freight carrier or vendor.
If your item has been damaged or has a defect of any kind, the FK admin team will work with our trusted repair technicians to resolve the issue on our end, sparing you the headache, and allowing you to focus your energy on the design & your client.
If there are issues that may take more time to resolve or require a replacement item be sent, we will notify you & keep you informed of the timeline & details along the way.
Using a receiver is also the most efficient way to collect & store items for your project in order to execute an impactful install of all or many of the items during one scheduled delivery for the client.
